ABOUT THE STAR

The first edition of the STAR newspaper hit the Cambridge newsstands in 1905. It went from covering the rapidly growing city of Cambridge to a circulation that reaches 18,000 homes throughout Isanti and Chisago counties. The STAR’s two editions a week are supported entirely by advertising sales, making the newspaper available free to readers.

In addition to its twice-weekly newspaper, the STAR regularly prints Wedding Bells, Silver Stars, Progress, Isanti County Traveler, Chisago County Traveler and the Directory. The STAR also publishes several niche pieces, including Active Boomers and Horse Lovers magazines.
