Local wellness enthusiasts are offering classes through North Branch Area Community Education to help busy adults manage life and stress in a healthy way.
For those available during the daytime, zumba, the new national fitness rage (combination of rhythmic beats and Latin moves) will be on Tuesday mornings. Back by popular demand is the Monday and Wednesday morning yoga.
A variety of evening fitness classes are also starting. For those too busy to sign up for long sessions, there are “walk-in” one-session rates for cardio-kickboxing, 30/30:yoga and pilates and men’s basketball. Monthly yoga sessions are also available in the evening.
The indoor tennis courts can be rented out for one-hour blocks of time. Walking passes will be issued for when the weather turns icy and cold.
Dr. Pete Wurdemann will be offering programs on “How to live to be 100 and healthy” and “Maximized Living: the five essentials to a long, satisfying life.”
